The Experience Behind FMM

Three decades of technical leadership. Three countries of field experience.

FMM's Principal and Qualifier earned his civil engineering degree in Cuba, building a career on rigorous engineering fundamentals. He later expanded that expertise in Colombia, directing construction and project-management assignments under a different regulatory and technical environment.

Today, based in Florida, he applies this accumulated international experience under U.S. construction and safety standards, holding the certification that qualifies him as a General Contractor in the State of Florida.

This cross-border trajectory is a defining operational asset. It lets FMM approach each project with technical judgment that comes only from working across multiple regulatory frameworks, construction methods and market conditions — anticipating risk, adapting solutions and holding engineering discipline through every phase.

A single brick casts the shadow of a high-rise tower — build something that lasts, one day at a time.

Transparent Qualifications

Two records. One standard.

FMM presents two distinct bodies of experience so owners and general contractors can evaluate both — the company's documented Florida performance and the engineering background of the person directing it.

01

FMM Corporate Project History

The company's verified project work performed in Florida, under U.S. codes and inspections. Young, deliberately built, and growing project by project.

02

Principal / Qualifier Experience

More than 30 years of technical and management experience in Cuba and Colombia — structural work, specialized finishes and project direction across different regulatory systems.

This distinction is intentional. Together, both records give a complete and transparent picture of the qualifications behind every project FMM undertakes.

Our Approach

Construction is applied engineering judgment.

Construction is more than the execution of drawings — it is applying decades of engineering judgment to deliver work that is safe, durable and correctly built. Every FMM project is directed by leadership that has practiced engineering and construction management across multiple countries and regulatory systems.

Safe
Built to U.S. construction and safety standards.
Durable
Assemblies detailed to last in the South Florida climate.
Correctly Built
Engineering oversight through every phase — not just at inspection.

A lean, permanent corporate structure, with field operations scaled through project-based crews and subcontractors — the responsiveness of a specialized firm with the accountability of an engineering-led one.

Our Growth Philosophy

Capability is earned, not assumed.

FMM has clear ambitions for growth — but believes real capability is proven through disciplined, hands-on work, project by project. Rather than pursuing expansion for its own sake, the company is building its reputation one job at a time.

Subcontracting & Trade Partnerships

FMM actively pursues subcontracting opportunities in painting, railings, doors, windows and related specialty trades. Every subcontracted assignment is treated as a direct extension of FMM's commitment to long-term credibility — executed with the same field discipline and technical oversight as its larger work.
